I have mentioned to members on a couple of occasions that I had noted thin, yellow centipedes apparently expiring on my garden path both this and last year around October/November. The pictures of the two commonest, thin yellow centipedes are shown below and from memory I believe I have seen both. If any members come across either during the summer while tending the flowerbeds I would like to hear from them. Since one is twice the length of the other while the smaller has the first few segments and the head darker, they should be fairly easy to identify.
Both illustrations taken from Field Guide to the Butterflies & other Insects of Britain (permission sought).
